PROFHILO®

What is it?

This is an award-winning skin regeneration gamechanger - a true 21st Century regeneration product. The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary injectable 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid treatment,  which not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. Profhilo stimulates your natural collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin, it then keeps the cells active which counteracts laxity and restores firmness and bloom to the skin. It protects, restores and maintains your skin in perfect working order.

How long does it take?

Your appointment will be approximately 30 minutes.

How quickly does it take effect?

You will notice a difference within 48-72 hours and it will continue to improve over the following 2 weeks.

How long does it last?

Many people require 2-3 treatments (delivered 3-6 weeks apart) to achieve the desired baseline result.  This will be discussed in your consultation. It wears off after 6 months so its an ideal treatment to top up every 3-4 months to keep the desired effects going.

Which areas can be treated?

This treatment restores bloom and firmness to the skin. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

Is it painful?

This injection stings a little bit but only whilst it is being injected.  The face then feels hot for about 30 mins afterwards. You can apply make up a couple of hours after the treatment, but not immediately.

Is there any downtime?

The heat following the treatment can make your skin slightly red, although this settles after about 30 mins.  Some people have bee sting like lumps at the injection sites for up to 8 hours although this varies greatly.
